Privacy Policy (GDPR)
Controller. PixelFrameCollective, registered at 12103 Friedrich-Wilhelm-Str. 25 Berlin, Germany, is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and our design engagements. Privacy questions: [email protected].
What we collect. When you contact the studio or commission work, we process identification and contact details (name, email, phone, company), project correspondence, billing information required for invoicing, and technical logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp) generated automatically when you load the site.
Purposes and legal bases. Contact data submitted through our brief form is processed to respond to your inquiry and prepare a quote (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures). Client data is processed to deliver contracted design and front-end services (Art. 6(1)(b)). Invoices and accounting records are retained to meet German statutory retention duties (Art. 6(1)(c)). Security logs are processed for legitimate interests in protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f)). Where you have given separate consent — for example a newsletter — you may withdraw it at any time (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Recipients. Data is shared only with processors bound by data-processing agreements: our hosting provider, email provider, and payment processor Stripe for transactions initiated through our payment link. We do not sell personal data and do not transfer it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention. Inquiry data is deleted 24 months after the last contact unless a contract results, in which case contractual and tax records are retained for the periods required by §§ 147 and 257 AO/HGB (generally 6–10 years). Server logs are rotated after 90 days.
Your rights. Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Exercise these rights by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — locally the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
CCPA / CPRA notice. California residents have the right to know categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, the purposes of use, and to request deletion or correction. PixelFrameCollective does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. Requests from California residents may be sent to [email protected]; we respond within the periods required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
International transfers. Where a processor operates outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, with supplementary measures where required.
